\nAbout one Shepherd and one flock,
\nHe says He is the Good Shepherd,
\nYet some of another shepherd talk.<\/p>\n
\nYoung David writes about the same,
\nThe Lord was the king’s Shepherd,
\nBut today many use another name.<\/p>\n
\nJesus is the shepherd of us sheep,
\nStill others insist in a new one,
\nWhy don’t God’s Word they all keep?<\/p>\n
\nPoints to Jesus just like the rest,
\nChrist is our Shepherd and Bishop,
\nFor He alone passed Father’s test.<\/p>\n
\nOn a Roman cross our sins He bore,
\nEnduring such great pain and agony,
\nAs sharp nails thru His flesh tore.<\/p>\n
\nOur Salvation couldn’t be achieved,
\nOnce His mission was accomplished,
\nHis Spirit His Father then received.<\/p>\n
\nJesus gave proof of what He had said,
\nJews and Romans were so astounded,
\nWhen Jesus Christ rose from the dead.<\/p>\n
\nFreeing us from the penalties of sin,
\nWith a clear promise of Life Eternal,
\nIf we’ll repent and accept Him within.<\/p>\n
\nHe is no vicar, shepherd or anything,
\nNor has he power to mediate for us,
