SLOW BURN <\/p>\n

Some preachers burn brightly,
\nOh how the crowds love them so,
\nBut often some years later,
\nWe wonder where did they go?<\/p>\n

It’s better to be a slow burn,
\nThan a no burn down in defeat,
\nIt is better to plod slowly,
\nSo the race we can complete.<\/p>\n

It takes the Divine Spirit,
\nJust to keep our spark alive,
\nFor if we try in the flesh,
\nNo doubt we will not survive.<\/p>\n

Only the Lord can keep us,
\nStraight on the Gospel track,
\nBy His Power we push forward,
\nThough that Devil may attack.<\/p>\n

And if we just keep running,
\nNo matter what he may send,
\nGod has given us a promise,
\nA crown we’ll have in the end.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
