\nYes, we can see it day by day.
\nWe start out looking so young,
\nBut now a song already sung.<\/p>\n
\nNot missing one single tooth.
\nFull of strength to do anything,
\nBut years weakness do bring.<\/p>\n
\nNow shut in we hardly get out.
\nVision fails nothing\u2019s now clear,
\nAnd voices we struggle to hear.<\/p>\n
\nYet we had to make our retreat.
\nWith old age stuff goes wrong,
\nStill we\u2019ll manage to get along.<\/p>\n
\nLess teeth our mouth is hollow.
\nEating food becomes a chore.
\nNo fast meals as we did before.<\/p>\n
\nSome things we will rearrange.
\nIt is easier for tasks we still do,
\nWe plow forward till life is thru.<\/p>\n
\nNo more in tired flesh to roam.
\nJoyfully we embrace release,
\nWe\u2019ll join our Prince of Peace.<\/p>\n
\nBut His own son God did send.
\nFrom the start He made a plan,
\nTo redeem every child & man.<\/p>\n
\nLamb of God who gave His all.
\nHe made the way for Salvation,
\nDeath is our day of graduation.<\/p>\n
\nDo your best to obey God\u2019s will.
\nFocused on the Heavenly prize,
\nDo what\u2019s pleasing in His eyes.<\/p>\n
\nOnce you finish your own race.
\nYour chapter here will be done,
\nTo spend eternity with the Son.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
