The scales on a person’s eyes,
\nThey can be oh so very thick,
\nThey just do not understand,
\nThough you hit them with a brick.<\/p>\n

You try to give them God’s Light,
\nYet they just stumble in the dark,
\nYou try to give them the truth,
\nYet they refuse to accept a spark.<\/p>\n

And thus is spiritual blindness,
\nAmongst the vain and the proud,
\nGod really wants to reach them,
