MIDTERMS <\/p>\n

We’re coming down to the midterms,
\nPoliticians are playing for blood,
\nOut come their knives and daggers,
\nThey’ll drag you through the mud.<\/p>\n

To them facts aren’t so important,
\nThey’ll say whatever to win a poll,
\nSo happy to cast dirt on opponents,
\nAs their lies take a dreadful toll.<\/p>\n

It doesn’t really matter the party,
\nThose politicians are all the same,
\nConvincing you they did not do it,
\nIt’s the opposition that’s to blame.<\/p>\n

Forget about the important issues,
\nThey distract you with red herrings,
\nThey will sow doubts and suspicion,
\nSo the opponent loses his bearings.<\/p>\n

A cruel political fight for survival,
\nOnly one party can take that crown,
\nThus they’ll pull out all the stops,
\nJust to take that other man down.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
