No matter how much I may sacrifice each day,
\nIt’s nothing compared to what Jesus did for me.
\nHe bore the weight of all of my darkest sins,
\nWhen He chose to die on yonder Mount Calvary.<\/p>\n

Even my very best for the Lord still falls short,
\nCompared to the Apostles of the First Century.
\nPersecuted, jailed, flogged, crucified, burned,
\nIt’s because of them I can now believe, you see.<\/p>\n

In our foolish pride sometimes we tend to boast,
\nAbout our service to God, with little humility,
\nBut the truth is we owe them a tremendous debt,
\nOf this fact you will no doubt assuredly agree.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
