A PRICE TOO HIGH<\/p>\n

Once there was a rich young ruler,
\nTho well-meaning he called Jesus good,
\nHe asked the Lord about Life Eternal,
\nDesiring to go to Heaven if he could.<\/p>\n

The young man was very self-righteous,
\nHe claimed he had kept all the Laws,
\nBut what Jesus told him thereafter,
\nGave that sad, poor boy great pause.<\/p>\n

The Lord had said “Give up your riches”,
\nOh what a high price for him to pay,
\nThe ruler went away with much sorrow,
\nNo Eternal Life he gained that day.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
