THE RACE <\/p>\n

As I run this life’s race,
\nSometimes I do fall down,
\nBut unlike that poor Jack,
\nI don’t ever lose my Crown.<\/p>\n

For even though I may fall,
\nThe Lord is there for me,
\nHe extends His loving hand,
\nSaying “I will deliver thee.”<\/p>\n

Yes, Jesus picks me right up,
\nThen He simply dusts me off,
\nWhile the devils throw a fit,
\nAnd curse, scream and scoff.<\/p>\n

Now, no force on this Earth,
\nOr even in the heavens above,
\nCan ever truly separate us,
\nFrom our great Father’s love.<\/p>\n

If at times we do grow weak,
\nThe Lord can make us strong,
\nThrough our trials He will lead,
\nTill we sing the victor’s song.<\/p>\n

A simple rule we need to follow,
\nIs to keep our eyes on Him,
\nAnd if we do this every moment,
\nThe race we are certain to win.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
