Deceptive politicians,
\nLying through their teeth,
\nEndeavoring to conceal,
\nWhat\u2019s hidden underneath.<\/p>\n

They pass lengthy bills,
\nThey say are for our good,
\nBut you have to wonder,
\nWhat\u2019s underneath the hood.<\/p>\n

So much pork and riders,
\nAre attached to each bill,
\nBut if the truth was known,
\nWould it become a law still?<\/p>\n

Hundreds of printed pages,
\nFilled with DC legalese,
\nDoes anyone read it all?
