TIRED OF FALSE PROPHETS<\/p>\n

I am tired of false prophets,
\nWho speak from their own minds,
\nThey claim they talk for God,
\nBut they wear spiritual blinds.<\/p>\n

They promise political victory,
\nGod will bless my coming year,
\nOf one thing I am most certain,
\nFrom the Lord they do not hear.<\/p>\n

They say Jesus is coming soon,
\nYes I’ve heard it for fifty years,
\nBut all their failed prophecies,
\nBring so many people to tears.<\/p>\n

The Lord warned us about them,
\nYou will find it in Matthew 7,
\nIf these deceivers approach you,
\nBeware of their false leaven.<\/p>\n

God’s Word speaks so plainly,
\nSo don’t be left in the dark,
\nIt says a true Prophet of God,
\nWill just never miss the mark.<\/p>\n

His words will come to pass,
\nOf this we can be most sure,
\nBut as for all those others,
\nWe should simply just ignore.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
