The profound truth of God’s Word,
\nRuns so deeply within our lives,
\nBut to those who choose to resist,
\nIt strikes hard like deadly knives.<\/p>\n

For some it binds up our wounds,
\nBut for others it leaves them dead,
\nFor how God’s Word will affect us,
\nDepends much on how it was read.<\/p>\n

Now if our hearts remain open to it,
\nThen it is like a great chest of gold,
\nFilled with such wonderful treasures,
\nSo much knowledge & wisdom untold.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
