Every day is a new chance,
\nTo give thanks to our God,
\nWhether He gives a blessing,
\nOr needs to apply His rod.<\/p>\n

It really depends upon us,
\nWhether we choose to obey,
\nIf we are wise we’ll listen,
\nTo what the Lord has to say.<\/p>\n

But blessing or chastisement,
\nBoth are signs of His love,
\nHe is such an awesome Father,
