Running for a public office,
\nSeems to be the latest sport,
\nCandidates attack each other,
\nThey fire off a mean retort.<\/p>\n

Forget about the big issues,
\nWhich make our lives so hard,
\nLet’s sling mud at one another,
\nLike kids do in their backyard.<\/p>\n

It really is so disgraceful,
\nGrown men behaving like jerks,
\nWith so many pressing problems,
