“The God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which is blessed for evermore, knoweth that I lie not.” “Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort;” “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ . . . That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:” “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,” Please note that it is Jesus who is speaking in the following verses where we read “my God”.
