BREATHE!<\/p>\n

10-13-2022<\/p>\n

I saw in a late night vision,
\nThe pollution was so great,
\nDue to our own foolishness,
\nWe had surely sealed our fate.<\/p>\n

Gas masks found everywhere,
\nNot a safe place in our land,
\nMany fights for hazmat suits,
\nThey were in high demand.<\/p>\n

That was not the worst of it,
\nThe sky above was our foe,
\nWith so much toxicity,
\nIt simply had no place to go.<\/p>\n

Thus began the explosions,
\nOver cities great and small,
\nWhen lightning lit up the sky,
\nThere was no one left at all.<\/p>\n

So many deep, dark craters,
\nMade by that heavenly fire,
\nSome folks were wondering,
\nWas it just the Lord\u2019s ire?<\/p>\n

How God had so blessed us,
\nWith more than we deserved,
\nBut we threw it all away,
\nPollution we had not curved.<\/p>\n

So many years of acid rain,
\nPlastics mounting in the deep,
\nOil spills and chemicals leaks,
\nThe Earth we so failed to keep.<\/p>\n

Now we received the rewards,
\nOf such thoughtless behavior,
\nIt was time to cry out now,
\nTo our one and only Savior.<\/p>\n

Perhaps He would show mercy,
\nDespite how we had all been,
\nWould He give us a break?
\nCouldn’t we just begin again?<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
