Precisely. The problem with Christians today is that many of us lack faith, and are not willing to forsake all -- as per Luke 14:33 and related verses -- in order to serve the Lord. The Apostles of old were willing to pay the price in order to follow Jesus. When Jesus said "Come and follow me", they left everything and followed Him on the spot. They left jobs, family, home and everything else that was comfortable in their lives, in order to seek first the Kingdom of God. They had faith, and they trusted God to provide their needs. Today we have been conditioned to believe that we cannot possibly survive without the secular system of man. We have become beholden to it, and depend on it for our very survival.
