King David and Saul of Tarsus
There are so many wonderful stories in the Bible, that I find it difficult to point to just one of them as being my all-time favorite. Having said that, off the top of my head, I would say the stories of King David and Saul of Tarsus strike a chord with me. Why? Because they are prime examples of God's Mercy towards people who knew that they were sinners, and thus so unworthy of the Lord's Mercy. Such stories give us all hope, because if God could be merciful to them, despite their serious mistakes and shortcomings, surely He can be merciful with each of us as well. Don't you agree? _________________ Bill Kochman Bill’s Bible Basics wordweaver777@gmail.com https://www.billkochman.com |
