We’re coming down to the midterms,
Politicians are playing for blood,
Out come their knives and daggers,
They’ll drag you through the mud.

To them facts aren’t so important,
They’ll say whatever to win a poll,
So happy to cast dirt on opponents,
As their lies take a dreadful toll.

It doesn’t really matter the party,
Those politicians are all the same,
Convincing you they did not do it,
It’s the opposition that’s to blame.

Forget about the important issues,
They distract you with red herrings,
They will sow doubts and suspicion,
So the opponent loses his bearings.

A cruel political fight for survival,
Only one party can take that crown,
Thus they’ll pull out all the stops,
Just to take that other man down.

CRAFTY POLITICIANS

See those crafty politicians,
They lie through their teeth,
They all smile just so pretty,
Concealing what’s underneath.

One party claims it’s this way,
While the other says it’s that,
Purposely trying to confuse us,
Pulling a rabbit out of a hat.

While you are looking this way,
They scheme elsewhere subtly,
They misdirect your attention,
Just hoping you won’t even see.

MSM wrapped around their finger,
They spin out stories what a tale,
One deception follows another,
Just lies from the pits of Hell.

Yet so many people trust them,
They’re caught up in that game,
Campaigning, sending in money,
Oh it is such a terrible shame.

A never-ending merry-go-round,
Once you’re on there’s no escape,
With lies they spin you around,
Till your mind is so out of shape.

Pure psychological manipulation,
They slowly twist your worldview,
You have turned into their puppet,
By the time that they are through.

No longer capable of seeing truth,
You just parrot their every thought,
Fully convinced only they are right,
It is just a bunch of deceptive rot.

But as for me I am truly different,
From this world God called me out,
I’ve been marching to another tune,
Preaching Jesus is what I am about.

Now what about you dear friend,
Did you swallow their deadly pill?
Or has the Lord kept you awake?
I hope you’re a free thinker still.

Improvements Made to Bill’s Bible Basics Live Stream

Greetings, friends. Well, I am happy to report that after some serious latency problems — frames stalling — with my live feed last night, today I introduced some changes to the format of my live stream on Facebook. After switching around some of the layers in the broadcasting software that I use, I am quite happy with the way that the feed looks now. Hopefully, the live stream won’t stall as much as it was doing last night — if at all — being as I am using smaller video frames on three layers.

Of course, I have no control over how things look on your end, due to possible Internet congestion, and other factors which are beyond my control.

The BBB live stream now shows three different camera frames on the right side of the window. The top frame is currently playing a recording of me reading seven of my articles. The middle frame is a live view of my living room where my two cats, Polo and Eljio, hang out a lot. The bottom frame is a live view of me sitting at my computer desk and doing ministry work, or other stuff … including eating! 🙂

By the way, it is best to view the enlarged version of the live stream on my Facebook timeline, either on a desktop or on a laptop computer … although a phone works fine too. Everything will just be a lot smaller — and less distinguishable — on a phone. 🙂
