MOBILE PHONE MURDER

Some boys can be such bullies,
But they are not all alone,
Online girls are just as bad,
When they use a mobile phone.
It really is quite shameful,
The hatred that is now sown,
These people reveal one thing,
They have not really grown.
But the worst tragedy of all,
Is one I hope I do not see,
It’s when such hateful words,
Lead to a murder by proxy.

MOANING AND GROANING

You just gripe and complain,
Till your face turns bright red,
Oh, it’s such a terrible day,
You should have stayed in bed.
The alarm clock didn’t go off,
Your kids are late for school,
Dear wifey burned your toast,
Oh man! That is just not cool!
Now it’s raining hard outside,
Oops! Your car is out of gas,
The dumb dog pooped on the lawn,
Whoah! You’re down in the grass.
Your nice neighbor over the fence,
Parked his car too close to yours,
And so now you’re just wondering,
How you’ll go out and do chores.
Face it; your life is so miserable,
There is obviously nothing good,
You would really change everything,
Well, that is, if only you could.
Wake up, you foolish complainer!
You have no reason to moan & groan,
You’re not poor out on the street,
And just chewing on some soup bone.
You have a wife and a great family,
And a nice home in which to live,
You’ve got clothes on your back,
So much money, you can even give.
Your health may not be perfect,
But it’s a lot better than some,
So I really have to wonder how,
To God’s blessings you are so numb.

Hey dude shootin’ up your coke,
Hey gal havin’ your MJ smoke,
You all get yourselves so high,
But don’t realize it’s just a lie,
Fake happiness isn’t that cool,
Satan just plays you for a fool,
Once you’re down from your grass,
Your euphoria will simply pass,
Problems will still be the same,
‘Cause takin’ dope is just a game,
Better believe in something real,
Choose Christ; He’s a better deal.

MISGUIDED TEACHERS

Before you teach Bible prophecy,
Make sure you actually understand,
There are many misguided teachers,
The situation has gotten out of hand.
One says this, yet another claims that,
And it results in very much confusion,
Now they cannot all possibly be right,
Might they be under strong delusion?
Apostle Paul warned many years ago,
Of babes trying to teach God’s Word,
He said from such withdraw thyself,
For what they teach is just so absurd.
Do not be children tossed to and fro,
Keep that nonsense out of your head,
Confirm everything with the Bible,
And don’t let false doctrines spread.

MINDBENDER

Wrong is right and right is wrong,
Such confusion is the Devil’s song.
The world’s gone mad, I do declare,
Blame the Dark Prince of the air.
He twists the truth, and our mind,
With subtle lies he leaves us blind.
That deceptive fiend, he is our foe,
But God’s Word, his tricks will show.
So study it now, please make haste,
Lucifer is lurking, no time to waste.
Like a roaring lion, he walks about,
His one goal is just to take you out.

The modern mainstream media,
Oh it’s such a terrible joke,
They feed us with so many lies,
And then wonder why we choke.
One thing should be very clear,
Speaking truth is not their aim,
Molding minds however they want,
Twisting facts is in their game.
Deception’s deep in every place,
Internet, radio, TV and ‘zines,
So if you really want the truth,
You’ll need to find other means.

MILITARY MADNESS

Why is it that the governments of men,
Always think that war is the solution?
They do not like some foreign leader,
So they work towards their dissolution.
Just to satisfy general world opinion,
Diplomacy gets a half-hearted endeavor,
But then tempers really begin to flare,
Berserko threatens with nuclear lever.
National economies have been destroyed,
As millions upon millions of people die,
Someday the warmongers will be silenced,
When an angry God firmly asks them why.

MIGHTY ROME

Oh how mighty was that Rome,
Her empire across the world,
People feared and trembled,
Wherever her flag unfurled.
With sharp teeth like a lion,
She devoured her every foe,
Tho armies fought against her,
She always dealt a deadly blow.
No one could seem to stop her,
But many nevertheless tried,
Their soldiers fought bravely,
On the battlefield they died.
But moral decay soon set in,
For power corrupts the mind,
Thus many citizens of Rome,
Became both haughty and blind.
Many gods they all worshiped,
Some were animals, others men,
Hedonism was quite rampant,
It was a city so full of sin.
The war expense was great,
So inflation began to rise,
Her senators became vultures,
Dealing in treacheries and lies.
But her biggest mistake of all,
Was to attack God’s own Church,
Is it really any wonder then,
He knocked her off her perch?
And so Rome began to crumble,
Her glory slowly faded away,
While God’s Kingdom lives on,
It is still with us here today.

MESSED UP WORLD

Racial tension, and economic oppression,
Political corruption, mental depression.
Juvenile detention, workplace aggression,
Lewd expression, to sexual transgression.
With so much wrong, I get the impression,
It is time to have, a heartfelt confession.
Alas there’s no more spiritual progression,
We’re in the middle of a social regression.
So forget your game of truth suppression,
And free us from your global compression.
If we don’t all agree to nonaggression,
God will sit us down for a serious session.

MEAN DOGS

Those mean news media hounds are on a roll,
So many victims I have lost track of the toll.
Lusting for blood, folks fall left and right,
You watch your step or they will take a bite.
Every day brings a new media assassination,
They tear lives apart all across the nation.
I am so sick of all their negative headlines,
Many people suck it up, and nobody whines,
Something is seriously wrong, can’t you see?
Stop being so vicious and just let people be.
Your so-called “fair news” is a farce at best,
Come on all you mad dogs, just give it a rest.

MASSACRE

A shot was fired, the children all ran,
That is how the massacre began.
Some kid got a gun, it wasn’t too hard,
He picked off children, in the schoolyard.
No one knows why, he did what he did,
He popped pills, maybe he flipped his lid.
No more words, action is what we need,
Time to bring law enforcement up to speed.
Gun owners resist, they put up a fight,
But killing our kids is just not right.
No more excuses, no more mistakes,
Rein in this problem by whatever it takes.

One says one thing, someone else says another,
You really have to wonder, why we even bother.
Telling us the truth isn’t really their game,
Sharks in the water, just another pol to frame.
Everything is slanted, and nothing is straight,
They bend our minds, they tell us who to hate.
If you really want truth, don’t depend on rags,
They all have agendas, to get us in their bags,
We gotta break free, resist their media spell,
See through deception, don’t accept their sale.
But if you read God’s Word, things become clear,
It really is time now, that you give God an ear.

The mass media is so biased,
Really makes me want to puke,
I need to clear my head now,
Guess I’ll just go read Luke.
At least he was so concerned,
More about the actual facts,
But not today’s mass media,
Who just want to grind an axe.
They all sling mud on anyone,
With whom they do not agree,
Their lack of fair reporting,
Is really one great tragedy.

MARY

There is only one Mediator,
Established between God and men,
Mary is not a co-redemptress,
She cannot take away our sin.
Although she was indeed blessed,
Above all women of the Earth,
She was by no means perfect,
But was marked by sin from birth.
Mary shed not her blood for us,
Nor did she rise from the dead,
Salvation is not hers for giving,
Jesus Christ alone is the Head.
So away with this false doctrine,
Don’t be deceived by the pope,
If you truly wish to be saved,
In Jesus place all of your hope.

MARRIAGE BASICS

No one ever said that marriage is easy,
It requires a lot of love and sacrifice,
But unless you cannot live without them,
Then refrain from marriage is my advice.
Apostle Paul offered his bit of wisdom,
Stay single if serving God you do yearn,
Yet if someone has a very active libido,
It is much better to marry than to burn.
A loving couple who serves God together,
Can sometimes result in what is the best,
But problems with selfishness & jealousy,
Can cause you to fail the marriage test.

Someday we shall surely take our rest,
But now is indeed not that day,
The Lord has given us a job to do,
Our first duty is His Will to obey.
There are so many things in this life,
Which strive to keep us from our task,
He gives us Grace to endure the test,
All we really have to do is ask.
Strength for the hour, faith for the day,
It is really such a simple equation,
Just keeping our eyes upon the Lord,
Will result in a grandiose occasion.

Are you a Jew or a true Christian,
You need to make up your mind,
Because the Hebrew Roots movement,
Has left you so spiritually blind.
You claim your faith is in Jesus,
But then you cling to Mosaic Law,
You are now under the New Covenant,
A Freedom Plan which God foresaw.
Righteousness is alone through Jesus,
Keeping mitvoth will wear you out,
It’s time to abandon your legalism,
And give that tricky Devil a rout.

It seems that life has just started,
Then it’s suddenly already at an end,
We wonder where all our years went,
When did we go around the final bend?
That is the problem with we humans,
We don’t truly appreciate our time,
God grants us some number of years,
And then He rings our closing chime.
So rather than waste them foolishly,
Use them to glorify the Lord’s Name,
Stop doing things that don’t matter,
Because this life is not just a game.

MAGNANIMOUS

They claimed that it was impossible,
He could not possibly win the race,
Dems, pundits and even his own GOPs,
Were forced to back off in disgrace.
For despite an onslaught against him,
He proved them wrong at every turn,
Even though a few missteps he made,
In the end enough votes he did earn.
Now it’s the time to be magnanimous,
And stretch his hand across the isle,
Show himself to be the better man,
For national unity it is worthwhile.
