STINKIN’ FLESH!

One day Satan came after you,
Pounding away in your poor ear,
He got you looking at yourself,
And exactly what did you hear?
Oh yes, you are just so pitiful,
And you can’t do anything right,
So just give up and surrender,
Why even try to put up a fight?
Forget about your hurt feelings,
Forget about your stinkin’ flesh,
‘Cause such carnal-minded thinkin’,
With God’s Spirit just doesn’t mesh.
