THE JOURNEY

by Bill Kochman

04-12-2014

I am on a journey to a far distant land,
As I hold on tight to the Master’s Hand.
The road may be rocky with many a test,
But I remain safe and secure in His rest.

Satan beckons me to take some other way,
Demons too, but I ignore what they say.
With eyes set fast on that yonder shore,
Only by God’s Grace can I hope to endure.

The world offers its own deceptive path,
But beware, it only leads to God’s Wrath,
There’s but one way leading to the Light,
Only through Jesus e escape the night.
