WIMPY WITNESS

by Bill Kochman

08-20-2014

He was such a wimpy witness,
And so ashamed of the Lord,
He would quickly run and hide,
Not pull out his Bible sword.

When fools came to mock him,
And naysayers drew so near,
He would flee the other way,
And simply cower in fear.

The power of God’s Spirit,
He just did not seem to know,
He was not strong in the Word,
And so his faith did not grow.
