Synopsis:



My friends, I am going to be rather blunt regarding this particular subject, even if it offends some of my readers. My response to this very important question is quite simply a resounding "NO, Muslims should not be allowed to hold any public office in the United States!" I believe my primary reasons for adopting this rigid -- albeit controversial -- position should already be rather apparent to many of my readers, and that there should really be no need for me to have to expound too much regarding this subject. However, for the benefit of anyone who may possibly not be aware of said reasons, allow me to state some of them here for your personal consideration.

As many of my readers will already know, a lot of Muslims are diametrically opposed to the Christian faith upon which our nation is primarily founded. As I have pointed out on previous occasions -- such as in the in-depth series called "Holy Qur'an and Islam: A Doctrine of Devils?" -- while it's true that Muslims recognize Jesus as a great prophet, they do NOT accept Him as the Son of God, or as the Savior of the world. Many Muslims do not even believe that Jesus died on the Cross, or that He was raised from the dead.

Furthermore, Muslims believe that their prophesied messiah, al-Mahdi -- a.k.a. Muhammad ibn Hasan al-Mahdi -- who they are convinced will arrive on the world political scene in the very near future, will be greater than Jesus, and that Jesus will in fact be subservient -- or a subordinate -- to al-Mahdi, if and when he arrives on the world stage. After al-Mahdi and Jesus kill al-Dajjal -- who is the Antichrist in Christian eschatology -- Jesus will supposedly live for another forty years, and then He will die a natural death. This is what Muslims believe. I delve into this particular topic in articles such as "Prophetic Comparisons: Mashiach, Mahdi and Messiah".

So what we see then, is that right off the bat, Muslims are quite clearly opposed to one of the foundational principles of our Christian-based country, which is that Jesus is the eternal Son of God who died for the sins of the world. But that is not all. Muslims also place Jesus UNDER al-Mahdi's authority, while the Bible in fact teaches that EVERY KNEE shall bow at the name of Jesus both in Heaven and on the Earth, as we see by the following group of Bible verses:

"For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God."


"Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father."


As I stated earlier, Muslim extremists are diametrically opposed to our Christian faith. They are convinced that the Christian faith is in fact inferior to Islam, that Islam is the final revelation sent from God, and that their prophet Muhammad is greater than Jesus Christ. They believe that both Jews and Christians are mistaken with regard to some of their beliefs and that Allah raised up Muhammad to use as his vessel to correct some of those misunderstandings. Sadly, as I point out in the aforementioned series, Muslim disapproval of our Christian faith does NOT just end with differences in our theologies. No, my friends, it goes a lot further than that.

Anyone who has read the Qur'an knows that it very clearly demands that both Christians and Jews -- and anyone else for that matter -- who oppose Islam are to be killed. In fact, their heads are to be cut off. This is not mere hearsay, my friends, this is precisely what it written in their holy book -- the Qur'an -- as you can see by the excerpts below. Muslims are told over and over again in the Qur'an that it is their duty to fight for Islam, and that their failure to do so will bring shame upon them:

47:5. "And when you meet in regular battle those who disbelieve, smite their necks; and, when you have overcome them, by causing great slaughter among them, bind fast the fetters - then afterwards either release them as a favour or by taking ransom - until the war lays down its burdens. That is the ordinance. And if ALLAH had so pleased, HE could have punished them Himself, but HE has willed that HE may try some of you by others. And those who are killed in the way of ALLAH - HE will never render their works vain."

8:13. When thy Lord revealed to the angels, saying, 'I am with you; so make firm those who believe. I will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve. Smite them above their necks, and smite off all finger-tips.'

4:90. "They wish that you should disbelieve as they have disbelieved, so that you may become alike. Take not, therefore, friends from among them, until they emigrate in the way of ALLAH. And if they turn away, then seize them and kill them wherever you find them; and take no friend nor helper from among them;"

5:34. "The only reward of those, who wage war against ALLAH and HIS Messenger and strive to create disorder in the land, is that they be slain or crucified or their hands and feet be cut off on account of their enmity, or they be expelled from the land. That shall be a disgrace for them in this world, and in the Hereafter they shall have a great punishment;"

8:66. "O Prophet, urge the believers to fight. If there be of you twenty who are steadfast, they shall overcome two hundred; And if there be a hundred of you, they shall overcome a thousand of those who disbelieve, because they are a people [who] do not understand."

9:5. "And when the forbidden months have passed, slay the idolaters wherever you find them and take them captive, and beleaguer them, and lie in wait for them at every place of ambush. But if they repent and observe Prayer and pay the Zak.t, then leave their way free. Surely, ALLAH is Most Forgiving, Merciful."

9:39. "If you will not go forth to fight in the cause of ALLAH, HE will punish you with a painful punishment, and will choose in your stead a people other than you, and you shall do HIM no harm at all. And ALLAH has full power over all things."

9:73. "O Prophet ! Strive hard against the disbelievers and the Hypocrites. And be firm against them. Their abode is Hell, and evil destination it is."

2:217. "Fighting is ordained for you, though it is repugnant to you; but it may be that you dislike a thing while it is good for you, and it may be that you like a thing while it is bad for you. ALLAH knows and you know not."

2:245. "And fight in the cause of ALLAH and know that ALLAH is All-Hearing, All-Knowing."

So exactly what is the end goal of Islam? Is it to simply live in peace along side other of the world's religions? No it is NOT! The previous excerpts from the Qur'an make that point rather obvious. But for those of you who may have any doubts regarding this issue, please consider the following excerpt which plainly declares that the end goal of Islam is to "prevail over every other religion", which, of course, means over Christianity as well:

9:33. "HE it is Who has sent HIS Messenger with guidance and the religion of truth, that HE may make it prevail over every other religion, even though the idolaters may resent it."

My friends, with just the few excerpts that I have shared with you, it should be plain to see that Islam is simply NOT compatible with our Christian faith. By extension, that also means that it is NOT compatible with the Christian precepts upon which our country was clearly founded two hundred and fifty years ago. Furthermore, it is time to recognize that Islam is NOT simply another world religion. It is in fact a militant political ideology, the end goal of which is total conquest, and death to anyone who resists said conquest. The idea of compromise, or some kind of gray area, doesn't exist within radical Islam. It is all black and white. Either you submit to Islam, or else you will die. That is it.

My friends, for those of you who may not be aware of it, it has been clearly documented that radical Islamic figures -- including some US-born or US-based Islamic clerics -- have in fact created and disseminated online videos, sermons, and audio recordings which outright encourage Islamic extremism and violence against Americans. This is happening within our OWN country! The Islamic clerics who create such videos are clearly against American society, and openly promote violent jihad against American citizens. In fact, if you take the time to conduct your own online research, you may be able to find some of these radical Islamic videos. Law enforcement reports indicate that such content has been used in online radicalization efforts targeting US residents. Lastly, I've read a few accounts where radicalized American citizens have actually gone to the Middle East in order to wage jihad.

One of the most prominent examples of radical Islamic imams who formerly operated within the United States is a guy named Anwar al-Awlaki. Awlaki was an AMERICAN-BORN Islamic imam who operated in both San Diego, as well as in Northern Virginia in 2001. Awlaki later moved to London in 2002 and then to his home country of Yemen in 2004. Awlaki later joining Al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula -- AQAP -- and becoming a prominent recruiter for violent extremism. He was linked to a number of terror plots, including the 2009 Fort Hood shooting, and the 2009 Christmas Day bombing attempt. As I noted above, Awlaki created videos IN FLUENT ENGLISH in which he urged American Muslims to reject the United States. He likewise encouraged violence against U.S. soldiers and civilians. Al-Awlaki was ultimately killed by a US drone strike in Yemen in September of 2011.

Another example of Islamic extremism occurring within the very borders of the United States, was a group called "Revolution Muslim" which operated in New York City between 2007 and 2011. Similar to Anwar al-Awlaki, this group also gained notoriety for its promotion of jihadist ideology, and openly endorsing terrorist acts within the United States. It was founded by an American named Joseph Cohen -- who changed his name to Yousef al-Khattab -- and Younes Abdullah Muhammad. Another American by the name of Zach Adam Chesser -- who changed his name to Abu Talhah al-Amrikee -- also emerged as a prominent member of the group. Chesser advocated for violence. This radical group aimed to promote a strict, transnational interpretation of Islamic law -- Sharia -- and was considered a significant homegrown jihadi support group within the United States.

"Revolution Muslim" frequently used social media, as well as its website, to disseminate its radical propaganda, to praise groups such as Al-Qaeda, and to threaten figures which in its view were insulting to Islam. This included the creators of the popular TV show "South Park". This radical New York City based Islamic group was the subject of intense investigation by the NYPD Intelligence Division between the years 2005 and 2011. The NYPD utilized undercover officers to infiltrate the group due to its links to Islamic extremist activity. The group eventually disbanded around 2011 following the arrest of key members, including Zach Chesser and another member by the name of Pimentel. It shifted some of its efforts to a website called "Islam Policy" before it finally disappeared. What is interesting is the fact that despite its dissolution, Revolution Muslim’s online, social media-centric methods were seen as a precursor to the propaganda strategies which were later adopted by ISIS.

In light of the previous two examples, it is no wonder then that US law enforcement and research institutions such as the "Combating Terrorism Center" at West Point have noted a clear connection between the consumption of such online extremist content and homegrown radicalization within America. The fact that some of these videos specifically call for jihad against the USA, and target the "Christian culture" or secular nature of our country, even advising followers to view Americans as the enemy, should be of great concern to every law-abiding American. My friends, this isn't just some questionable, wild Internet conspiracy theory. This Islamic radicalization has been happening in our country for over two decades now!

Of course, as is to be expected, American Muslim leaders and advocacy groups such as CAIR -- Council on American-Islamic Relations -- frequently condemn the radical messages that are promoted by these extremist Islamic clerics and other radical Islamic groups which have taken root in the United States. As an example, in 2010, a group of influential American Muslim scholars released a video in which they specifically rebutted such radical propaganda, arguing that such violent acts being encouraged against Americans are theologically unacceptable. I already showed you exactly what the Qur'an actually says, so I don't know how those scholars were able to prove their point. At any rate, CAIR and other Muslims insist that the radical views which are promoted in such videos do not represent the mainstream Muslim community in the United States.

Now, my dear friends, in contrast to the radical, hateful and extremely violent teachings which are found in the Qur'an and which are promoted by some of these Islamic imams, I ask you to consider what Jesus and the Apostles taught us in the New Testament of the Holy Bible. The difference is very hard to miss:

"Cease from anger, and forsake wrath: fret not thyself in any wise to do evil. For evildoers shall be cut off: but those that wait upon the LORD, they shall inherit the earth. For yet a little while, and the wicked shall not be: yea, thou shalt diligently consider his place, and it shall not be. But the meek shall inherit the earth; and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace."


"Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth."


"Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God."


"But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust. For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same? And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? do not even the publicans so? Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect."


"But I say unto you which hear, Love your enemies, do good to them which hate you, Bless them that curse you, and pray for them which despitefully use you. And unto him that smiteth thee on the one cheek offer also the other; and him that taketh away thy cloke forbid not to take thy coat also. Give to every man that asketh of thee; and of him that taketh away thy goods ask them not again. And as ye would that men should do to you, do ye also to them likewise. For if ye love them which love you, what thank have ye? for sinners also love those that love them. And if ye do good to them which do good to you, what thank have ye? for sinners also do even the same. And if ye lend to them of whom ye hope to receive, what thank have ye? for sinners also lend to sinners, to receive as much again. But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil. Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful."


"Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence."


"Then said Jesus unto him, Put up again thy sword into his place: for all they that take the sword shall perish with the sword."


"If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men."


"Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:"


"From whence come wars and fightings among you? come they not hence, even of your lusts that war in your members?"


Wow! What a profound difference between what Muhammad taught and what Jesus and the Apostles taught! Thus, the idea that Christianity and Islam can somehow peacefully coexist with each other side-by-side is an absolute and complete fantasy. It's simply an illusion. Given the stark differences between our two faiths, it is simply impossible for real coexistence to ever occur, and in my view, anyone who believes otherwise deceives themselves. The Prophet Amos and Jesus Himself had some very interesting things to say about this. Consider the following Bible verses:

"Can two walk together, except they be agreed?"


"He that is not with me is against me; and he that gathereth not with me scattereth abroad."


"He that is not with me is against me: and he that gathereth not with me scattereth."


While Muslims may claim to respect Jesus as a great prophet, and will even include PBUH -- Peace Be Upon Him -- whenever they mention His name, the truth of the matter still remains that they are actually against Him. Why? Because they deny His heavenly Divinity, His Sonship, and His Messiahship. So, yes, they are against Him whether they are willing to admit it or not. Furthermore, even if we lay aside and ignore our religious differences, it is still a very well-established fact that many Muslims who now reside in the United States have demonstrated absolutely no interest whatsoever in truly assimilating into American culture. Instead, they want to form their own isolated Islamic communities where Sharia -- or Islamic law -- is the law of the land, and NOT American law.

For those of my readers who may not have heard of it, one clear case in point concerns the very controversial EPIC City project which is currently in the process of being developed just outside of the city limits of Josephine, Texas, about forty miles northeast of Dallas. My friends, this type of development project does NOT promote being an American citizen, and it is most certainly NOT a positive example of adapting to one’s host country. In fact, what it really amounts to is establishing a little piece of their home country in OUR country. It is similar to Vatican City being in Italy, yet separate.

So this begs an important question. Instead of trying to insert a piece of their country into OUR country, why don’t such radical Muslims just remain where they are if they miss their own country so much and if they want to practice their own brand of religion, which is in direct opposition to our own Christian faith?

As I've questioned before, if Arabs can have their Muslim nations where Islam is the dominant religion while other religions are suppressed, and if the Israelis can have a Jewish nation where Judaism is the primary religion, and if India can be predominantly Hindu, and if China and Japan can be primarily Buddhist nations, why do some individuals get so bent out of shape because we Christians desire to have a nation where worshipping our God and the Lord Jesus Christ, and living by Biblical principles is dominant? Isn’t there a bit of hypocrisy and prejudice in this twisted perspective which basically says "Everyone else can do it, but not us"?

Now, for those of my readers who may possibly disagree with my stance, I urge you to take a long, hard look at what has been happening over in Europe and Great Britain ever since the Muslims began making strong inroads into those nations. It is time to wake up! The same strategy that the Muslims used in Great Britain and Europe, they are NOW implementing in the United States as well. The most recent evidence of this is the fact that New York City now has a Muslim mayor by the name of Zohran Mamdani. Born to Indian parents in Kampala, Uganda -- his father is Muslim while his mother is Hindu -- Mamdani became a naturalized citizen of the USA in 2018. Aside from being a member of the Democratic Party, he is also a member of the Democratic Socialists of America, which is the largest socialist organization in the USA.

After serving as a member of the New York State Assembly from 2021 to 2025, Mamdani was elected as mayor of New York City on November 4, 2025. Aside from Mr. Mamdani, who can possibly ignore the radical, rather vociferous Muslim women who also hold office in the United States Congress? I am, of course, referring to Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib, both of whom are Democrats. Two other Democratic lawmakers who also embrace Islam include André Carson of Indiana and Lateefah Simon of California.

Of course, to add balance to my previous statement, in all fairness, I should also point out that Washington, DC has a disproportionate number of Jewish lawmakers as well, which I amply discuss in my series called "Welcome to Greater Israel, USA!" which you will find listed at the end of this article. Then, of course, there are also the AIPAC -- American Israel Public Affairs Committee -- lobbyists who have an extremely powerful influence over Washington politicians. It's evident that the Muslims hope to eventually beat the Jews at their very own political game in Washington, DC.

But that is not all. Even if we choose to ignore the violent teachings which are contained in the Qur'an, and even if we choose to accept the statements from CAIR and other Muslim advocacy groups which claim that most modern Muslims do not embrace such violent beliefs and tendencies, you should know that gaining a foothold in American politics, and developing Muslim-centric communities within our country are by no means the only ways in which Islam is acquiring a growing foothold within the United States. There is yet another way in which Muslims are slowly expanding their influence in America.

In short, my friends, while selfish, ungodly American women continue to abort more than one million of their babies each year according to the latest statistics, in contrast, Muslim couples are having babies left and right. Do you think those children will be raised in a Christian environment? Not only will they be raised in the faith of Muhammad, but I think it is probable that some of them will also be raised according to radical Islam. Think about that, my friends. Homegrown Islamic radicals just as I explained to you earlier in this article. In fact, some time ago, I came across information which stated that the nation of Israel is facing the very same problem. It has been said that in the coming years, the Arab population in Israel will supersede the actual Jewish population. I wonder how Europe and Great Britain are faring.

Regarding Zohran Mamdani, to be quite honest, I was rather surprised -- perhaps "shocked" is a more accurate word -- to learn that Mamdani had actually won the mayoral election. My shock was due to the fact that for many years, I have been under the impression that New York City is a center of both Jewish financial and political power. So for Mamdani to win seemed so unrealistic to me. Wondering if perhaps I had been mistaken for so long, I conducted some online research. What I discovered is that about 12% to 15% of NYC's population is Jewish by religion or ethnicity. This represents almost one million people within the five boroughs, and over 1.9 million when we include the broader New York metropolitan area. This concentration makes NYC home to the largest Jewish community in the world outside of Israel itself, with a high density of Orthodox, Reform, and Conservative, along with culturally Jewish individuals.

Yet despite that obvious Jewish powerhouse, Zohran Mamdani still won the 2025 mayoral election with just over 50% of the vote. Make no mistake, my friends. Mamdani has not been the least bit shy insofar as promoting his Islamic religion is concerned. In fact, thirteen days ago on March 11, 2026, he hosted the first ever iftar meal in the NYC City Hall's Blue Room to mark the Islamic holy month of Ramadan. There are in fact online videos where Mamdani is seen offering dates to his guests who are sitting on traditional Muslim prayer rugs. So you need to ask yourself a very important question: Could Zohran Mamdani's electoral victory possibly foreshadow the future of your city as well if more Muslims were to obtain political power within America? Is that what you personally would like to see happen?
