WISE FATHER

There is no wiser Father,
Than the one in Heaven above,
He knows how to apply the rod,
But also when to give us love.
Yet our parents here on Earth,
Don’t always act just the same,
Although we may be innocent,
They will give us all the blame.
But God’s rod is very measured,
He’s so righteous and very just,
His love is boundless always,
Tho punish us sometimes He must.
