WRITING ON THE WALL

by Bill Kochman

06-22-2018

Friend, can you even see,
The writing on the wall?
The signs are everywhere,
This nation may soon fall.

Look at our politicians,
They seem to never agree,
Corruption is the norm,
From sea to shining sea.

The poor are so oppressed,
Babies killed every day,
Being homo is now alright,
Sadly so our laws now say.

Violence in our classrooms,
And drugs on every street,
Criminals are now victims,
While cops take the heat.

Perversion is so rampant,
I am filled with disgust,
People know no boundaries,
They fulfill every lust.

Our sins are now so many,
We provoke the Most High,
So when His judgments come,
Will we even ask Him why?
