SOCIAL NETWORK GAMES

Well, I have five thousand friends,
And man, I really do like to post,
But regardless of whatever I do,
I am treated just like some ghost.

So very few folks visit my timeline,
Comments and likes have tanked,
And as far as sharing my memes,
My gosh, they barely even rank.

Please tell me what is going on,
Doesn’t anyone like me I wonder,
Were my updates too offensive?
Or did I make a serious blunder?

Now if you have ever felt this way,
Let me give you a really big clue,
The fact that you are so invisible,
May not have much to do with you.

The social networks are all rigged,
Each user is assigned to a class
The elitists get all the exposure,
While we peons are given a pass.

Thus if you are not too important,
Ignore you they most surely will,
Or pressure you to buy some ads,
How they so love to fill up their till!

You can also buy a subscription,
If you want to get a special mark,
But if they still don’t even like you,
You will simply be left in the dark.
