CAUGHT WITHIN HIS WILL

Though at times I have gone astray,
Stubbornly went my own foolish way,
Nevertheless, God loves me still,
Because I’m caught within His Will.
In my life, I’ve done many a thing,
Even some which only sadness bring,
But through my mistakes I know now,
That in the end, to His Will we bow.
God knows best, He’s made it plain,
To fight His Will is a fight in vain,
Much better it is to yield the knee,
Than go on resisting Him stubbornly.
