CASUAL CONVERSATION?

by Bill Kochman

11-12-2023

You say casual conversation?
I am not so sure if I really can,
It is not my intention to boast,
But I am a deep-thinking man.

Engaging in just idle chatter,
Well, it is really not my thing,
I prefer more meatier stuff,
Do you care to take a swing?

So many interesting topics,
Where we can use our mind,
Go ahead pick your subject,
I will then respond in kind.

I don’t mean to sound heavy,
No, I am not a boring mule,
I simply believe stimulation,
Is just so wonderfully cool.

Well, now you know my thots,
I hope you will likewise agree,
I am going to kick back now,
As I patiently wait and see.
