BEACON!

Oh how God must surely weep,
As He looks down at our nation,
So filled with rebellion and sin,
She’s become an abomination.

The light she once possessed,
Has now faded to a small glow,
Darkness has since overtaken,
Satan has dealt a serious blow.

We once had a fear of the Lord,
But now defy Him to His face,
If we don’t repent and confess,
He may drive us from our place.

It happened many times before,
In the Bible we see that it’s true,
When Israel rejected the Lord,
God dealt with their nation too.

In His mercy He sent Prophets,
To warn those people to return,
Yet sadly, in their foolish pride,
God’s warnings they did spurn.

So harsh judgment then did fall,
Invaded, destroyed & enslaved,
But it could have been avoided,
If only they had all just behaved.

Now America is at a crossroad,
She too can make things right,
But it takes national repentance,
Or we’ll feel His anger and might.

Our time may be getting short,
And His patience growing thin,
So seek God while you still can,
Forsake darkness, let His light in.
