PRAYER FOR OUR NATION

Lord, open the eyes of this people,
Please help them to know their sin,
Break all their pride and rebellion,
And purge their hearts from within.
Turn them away from wickedness,
And towards Your wonderful Light,
Help them to cast off the darkness,
And no longer stumble in the night.
Give them a hunger for Your truth,
And a desire to follow Your rules,
Free from the lies and deception,
Yes, no longer that Devil’s tools.
Grant them a more humble spirit,
Remove their cold hearts of stone,
No longer looking to themselves,
Just trusting in you, Father, alone.
May an attitude of true repentance,
Reverberate throughout the nation,
Thus renewing each & every mind,
Making us a righteous congregation.
