DEATH COMES KNOCKING

by Bill Kochman

09-21-2019

I knew that death was calling,
But I was not ready to go,
I still had things left to do,
Though my age had made me slow.

Lord, please give me more time,
Let me make everything right,
I really want to be with You,
I am eager to take my flight.

Such thoughts may seem noble,
But please follow God’s Plan,
He gave you your allotted years,
Now travel to that Promised Land.
