DON’T BE ASHAMED

by Bill Kochman

12-06-2016

We cannot be like Apostle Peter,
Who greatly feared for his life,
He denied knowing the Lord Jesus,
Conviction cut him like a knife.

Peter departed in haste weeping,
So depressed by what he had done,
But then Jesus later forgave him,
For sinless folks there are none.

If we are ashamed of our Savior,
The Gospel warns about our fate,
Jesus will say He doesn’t know us,
We may not make it in the Gate.
