FAME GAME

by Bill Kochman

04-17-2014

In our fallen world, everywhere it’s the same,
People so obsessed, with trying to make a name.
But how some go about it, is really a shame,
Power sex and money, are tools in their game.
Climbing over others, to grasp elusive fame,
No one is concerned, no one takes the blame.

In a crazy struggle, striving for their goal,
Caring for their body, but denying their soul.
But alas such madness, will surely take a toll,
Some die in the process, and end up in a hole.
Forget their foolish game, let go of the pole,
Better turn to Jesus, let Him make you whole.
