FEDERAL RESERVE BOARD

by Bill Kochman

The Federal Reserve Board,
Oh what a government-sounding name,
But they are not a federal agency,
And can really make no such claim.

They are powerful private bankers,
Yielding very sharp economic knives,
Their unchallenged fiscal policies,
Cut deep right into our very lives.

From minimum wage to grocery prices,
Interest on loans and so much more,
They determine how money affects you,
And leave you rich or else very poor.
