ETERNAL REWARDS

Even tho you rarely see my posts,
Oh man I am having quite a blast,
I am working so hard for the Lord,
And rewards that will forever last.

I labor not for this present world,
It is merely wood, hay and stubble,
If your foundation is not the Lord,
Someday you will be in big trouble.

People today are so very deceived,
Seeking only power, money & fame,
So blinded by the temporary things,
Wrapped up in that old Devil’s game.

Never considering what comes next,
Once their life on Earth is through,
Doing what appeals to their flesh,
They just really don’t have a clue.

But as for you I hope you are smart,
And have heard God’s higher call,
For if you obey Him in present life,
You will not ever be ashamed at all.

Greeting you when your life is done,
Great rewards will be in His hand,
This is the message I share today,
My prayer is that you understand.
