HOMO SAPIENS?

Sometimes I really have to wonder,
Why “Homo sapiens” applies to man,
If building nukes is being so wise,
Then I really just don’t understand.
The same is true for all the rest,
Especially those nasties called WMD,
If we’re so dumb to make such things,
Maybe we did fall out of some tree.
We hit our head and broke our skull,
And all our brains got mashed a bit,
If we were smart, we’d get some sense,
And say it’s finally time to quit.
