LEAD WEIGHT

by Bill Kochman

12-02-2016

It really is rather tragic,
The pride within your soul,
Like a lead weight so heavy,
You sink deeper in the hole.

The Lord died for your sins,
You refuse to take a glance,
God offers you His Salvation,
You won’t give Him a chance.

So down and down you tumble,
That weight picks up speed,
Getting very hot down there,
Time to confess your need.
