MACHINE FROM HELL

by Bill Kochman

01-29-2018

I was going to log into my account,
Well, that is, if I only could,
I tried everything I could think of,
But, alas, my password was no good.

So then I called up some tech guy,
Explained what my problem was about,
Although he tried hard to help me,
That darn server just locked me out.

Minutes soon turned to half an hour,
As my poor ear got sore on the phone,
Though we troubleshooted for so long,
The problem still remained unknown.

I then realized I was getting sweaty,
And I probably even raised my voice,
I just wanted to get myself online,
But that server gave me no choice.

Soon after I suddenly began to notice,
A sharp pain was growing in my chest,
Slow down partner, just take it easy,
You are not ready for eternal rest.

Our lives online can be so much fun,
When everything is going really swell,
Just pray you never have a problem,
With one of those machines from hell!
