NO GOOD WORKS

by Bill Kochman

01-13-2017

You may think that you are good,
But if so, you’re just deceived,
Better to thank our God above,
For the Gift that we’ve received.

Nothing on Earth could have done,
What Jesus Christ did for us all,
He gave His life to seal a breach,
That was opened with Adam’s Fall.

There are no good works we can do,
That will ever give us such merit,
So forget that path, accept Jesus,
Then Eternal Life you will inherit.
