NO WAY OUT

by Bill Kochman

06-06-2018

If you’re called to serve the Lord,
I advise you to obey,
If you don’t, it won’t go well,
And you’ll regret it someday.

It is just a waste of time,
So don’t even scream and shout,
Just get it thru your thick head,
There is simply no way out.

You can try to run away,
Just like that old Jonah did,
But don’t forget that big fish,
You want the same? God forbid!

Yes, it’s wiser to submit,
And do as you have been told,
If you’re faithful to the end,
You’ll walk down streets of gold.
