POWER OF THE VOTE

by Bill Kochman

11-10-2014

So you vote and vote and vote,
Yet each time the POTUS is a goat.
He’s not a sheep of the Lord,
He hates peace and loves the sword.

The U.S. Congress is just the same,
Casting blame is the name of the game.
The justices have all gone berserk,
With ungodly rulings the Lord they irk.

The whole scene is just so insane,
While the poor suffer hunger and pain.
Such are the corrupt systems of men,
They oppress with the swipe of a pen.
