SATAN’S CLAWS

by Bill Kochman

Fee, fee, fi, fi, fo, fo, fum,
Look out children, ’cause here he come.
He’s got a bag of toys, tied with a cord,
Guard your faith, don’t forget the Lord.

He’ll entice you with things, nice to see,
While others in the world, live in misery.
He puts so much glitter, before your eyes,
Everything about him, is a pack of lies.

Sure, you may be happy, at Christmas time,
But mom and dad, won’t be left with a dime.
Stores will be glad, they sold many things,
But to our God above, only sadness it brings.

Forget about Jesus, that’s ole Santa’s game,
Push away God’s Son, so he gets the fame.
Santa won’t judge if you’re naughty or nice,
That is only God’s job, so take my advice,

Steer clear of him, watch out for his claws,
And if you’re tempted, don’t give any pause.
Stay true to God’s Word, your faith strong,
Even if the world, says that you are wrong.
