SLOW DOWN

by Bill Kochman

05-05-2014

Perfume only comes when a flower’s crushed,
God takes His time, He is never rushed.
From coal to a diamond, baby to man,
He slowly fulfills, His wonderful Plan.

Thus day after day, and year after year,
He works in our lives, if we will hear.
But we must slow down, and be very still,
In this way alone, can we know God’s Will.

For if we are hurried, we will miss a lot,
Rushing about, we will never be taught.
So move with the Lord, and not ahead,
Trust His Word, there is nothing to dread.
