DECEPTION FOR DOLLARS

by Bill Kochman

It’s just deception for dollars,
That’s exactly what they do,
They write ridiculous books,
Making a big fool out of you.

You just can’t wait to read it,
Cool stuff about those UFOs,
But as for their bank account,
Man it just grows and grows!

Also false prophecy teachers,
They’ll get you on their hook,
Enticing you with bogus ideas,
So you go buy another book.

Don’t forget the has-been pols,
They claim an insider account,
You run to buy their juicy tome,
Willing to pay just any amount.

And thus that sad story goes,
Some people just never learn,
Wasting so much of their cash,
They worked so hard to earn.

But now what about you friend,
Are you going to play it smart?
Or will you also be their sucker,
And with your money depart?
