SWEET RELEASE

by Bill Kochman

08-29-2014

The Lord wanted to take me,
But you would not let me go,
With machines drugs and tubes,
My death you tried to slow.

So much in this constant pain,
I really wanted my release,
But you acted so selfishly,
And denied me eternal peace.

I know that you will miss me,
But I must accept my Crown,
Please turn off the machines,
And no longer hold me down.
