CRAFTY POLITICIANS

See those crafty politicians,
They lie through their teeth,
They all smile just so pretty,
Concealing what’s underneath.
One party claims it’s this way,
While the other says it’s that,
Purposely trying to confuse us,
Pulling a rabbit out of a hat.
While you are looking this way,
They scheme elsewhere subtly,
They misdirect your attention,
Just hoping you won’t even see.
MSM wrapped around their finger,
They spin out stories what a tale,
One deception follows another,
Just lies from the pits of Hell.
Yet so many people trust them,
They’re caught up in that game,
Campaigning, sending in money,
Oh it is such a terrible shame.
A never-ending merry-go-round,
Once you’re on there’s no escape,
With lies they spin you around,
Till your mind is so out of shape.
Pure psychological manipulation,
They slowly twist your worldview,
You have turned into their puppet,
By the time that they are through.
No longer capable of seeing truth,
You just parrot their every thought,
Fully convinced only they are right,
It is just a bunch of deceptive rot.
But as for me I am truly different,
From this world God called me out,
I’ve been marching to another tune,
Preaching Jesus is what I am about.
Now what about you dear friend,
Did you swallow their deadly pill?
Or has the Lord kept you awake?
I hope you’re a free thinker still.
