AFTER WE ARE GONE

We all want to be remembered,
After we are gone,
For some it’s a book written,
While for others it’s a song.
But as I look at my own life,
What stands out very strong,
Is God’s Word I have taught,
It remains for so very long.
So I will keep on preaching,
It’s most important to me,
It may make a difference,
When I reach Eternity.
