WE ALWAYS GO TO WAR

by Bill Kochman

11-20-2016

Since many years ago as a little boy,
It seems there’s always been a ploy,
A widespread lie and politician’s toy,
That says we must always go to war.

North Koreans were once the war song,
That is till the Viet Cong came along,
Then al-Qaeda & Afghans did us wrong,
And so once again we went to war.

Saddam and his Iraqis then came next,
ISIS and Iranians, our souls still vex,
As for Bashar, many lives he wrecks,
Thus again we look for another war.
