WE OUGHT TO BE HAPPY

by Bill Kochman

07-25-2014

We ought to be happy,
We’re the children of the King,
We ought to be happy,
No matter what the Devil bring.

We ought to be happy,
Yes, shout and praise and sing,
We ought to be happy,
And be thankful for everything.

We ought to be happy,
We wear the bridegroom’s ring,
We ought to be happy,
He vows to take us up on wing.
