WE SAY WE LOVE JESUS

by Bill Kochman

11-13-2017

We say that we love Jesus,
We boast of having faith of gold,
Yet fill our lives with other things,
And leave Him out in the cold.

Jesus longs to have our love,
He waits patiently by the door,
But we’re busy with worldly life,
And find giving Him time a chore.

No earthly marriage would last long,
If we dared treat our mate the same,
That we do this to our very Savior,
Is nothing short of a shame.
